During the 2019 YGT Global Competition in Guangzhou, China, workshops led by renowned university professors and directors of international environmental organizations bring multi-dimensional entrepreneurial guidance to YGTers. The courses cover management, products, finance, business and growth which equip YGTers with the necessary skills for entrepreneurship and corporate development.

PUBLIC SHOWCASE

At the 2019 Bay Area Young Game Changers Forum, 2019 YGT finalists had the opportunity to showcase their startup to audiences of over 300 professionals. YGTers held discussions with influential guests like the Founder and CEO of Cambridge Cleantech Martin Garratt and the Managing Director of APAC for the Bloomberg New Economy Forum Justin Finnegan on the future development of youth innovation.

YGT GLOBAL COMPETITION

Since the beginning of the YGT Young Green Tech Competition on March 8th, 2019, more than 100 applicants had participated, with projects originating from 15 countries and regions. The innovative and environmentally-focused projects presented through the YGT competition are both relevant in daily life and impactful to the future development of knowledge and the economy, highlighting the power of environmental impact held by the younger generation!

In September 2019, YGT entrepreneurs from Spain, Germany, China, and San Francisco gathered in New York, participating in the YGT New York Deep Dive to explore various activities in the NYC Climate Week.
YGT NYC SUMMIT@NEW YORK
As one of the officials certificated summit of NYC Climate Week and an important part of the YGT New York Deep Dive, the YGT New York Summit focused on the vision of many environmental entrepreneurs, investors, and stakeholders in global environmental issues.
YGT FORUM@SAN FRANCISCO
During the first YGT forum in September 2018 in San Francisco, Wang Shi, Chairman of the Vanke Foundation and Gary Hirshberg, Chairman and former president and CEO of Stonyfield Farms moderated the forum and interviewed YGT entrepreneurs. Amory Lovins, a renowned environmentalist was also in attendance.
